What's New on Flow: Cleaner QuickBooks Invoices, Automatic Compensation Bundling, and a Sharper On the Spot!

Here is a closer look at the latest work across the Flow Platform. These improvements roll out automatically, there is nothing for your team to install.

QuickBooks: your synced invoices now match your printed invoices, exactly

Until now, when an invoice synced to QuickBooks Online, the line-item descriptions came from raw stored data that did not always match what your customer saw on the printed Flow Platform invoice. That meant two versions of the same invoice could read differently, a headache at reconciliation time.

We rebuilt this so the QuickBooks description is generated from the exact same Invoice 2.0 template and the exact same data as your printed invoice. One source of truth: what your customer receives on paper and what lands in QuickBooks are now identical. Behind the scenes, the system can resolve well over a hundred description fields, dates, times, service type, location, vendor and requester details, record and claim identifiers, purchase orders, and compliance codes, so whichever template you use, the description fills in correctly. Amounts, quantities, GL accounts, and classes transfer as before; only the description got smarter.

Two related touches: multi-line descriptions now keep their line breaks in QuickBooks instead of running together, and you can add CC email addresses when creating an invoice.

A note on privacy: sensitive consumer identifiers stay encrypted and are never written into a QuickBooks description. Compliance is built in, not bolted on.

Flow Finance: automatic compensation bundling, on your terms

Preparing vendor compensation used to mean grouping billable work by hand. Flow Finance can now bundle a vendor's items into compensation statements automatically, following that vendor's own settings, so the rules you have already configured do the work for you.

The bundling respects the details that matter: a configurable minimum for what forms a bundle, and control over how cancelled-but-billable items are prioritized and included. And because seeing is trusting, the compensation review now shows a visual diagram of exactly how each bundle was assembled, so your finance and QA teams can verify a payout at a glance instead of tracing it line by line.

On the Spot!: faster, and it shows interpreters the right work

Several improvements landed for interpreters using the On the Spot! app:

• Faster sign-in. We reworked how the app verifies your account across your organizations, so logging in is noticeably quicker and more reliable.
• Your assignments always appear. If you wear more than one hat, an interpreter who also reviews or manages, your own assigned appointments now always show in your schedule. They are no longer hidden by review or notification filters meant for other roles.
• Accurate appointment details. The Requester name now displays correctly rather than repeating the provider, and Record ID and Consumer details appear whenever your account has them configured.
