Messages That Make Sense, Payments That Show Their Math, and a Peek at What Is Next
This week the Flow Platform learned to explain itself in plain English, vendor payments now show their multipliers, Zoom connections got steadier, and we preview the rebuilt Control Center, the Vendor Center, and a lighter Review Center view.
Here is what shipped across the Flow Platform this past week, plus an honest look at what is taking shape for the weeks ahead.
The platform now talks like a person
The biggest effort of the week is one you will read rather than click. The messages the platform shows when it guides or stops an action, a submission that is too early, paperwork past its window, an event in a status that will not allow a change, were rewritten in plain English. Each message now says what happened, why, and what to do next, and it is tuned to who is reading: an interpreter sees wording that fits their work, staff see wording that fits theirs. Grammar, labels, and capitalization got a full review at the same time. The goal is simple: nobody should ever stare at a message and wonder what the platform just meant.
Vendor payments show their math
When a payout includes a rate multiplier, the payment search now shows it as its own column, and the total is calculated with it, so a boosted rate is visible instead of buried inside a number. Rush fees are now recognized properly in expense descriptions, and a display issue in the void-payment flow was corrected. Less guessing, more arithmetic you can follow.
Zoom connections, steadier
A fix for accounts using the Zoom integration: the platform now loads your Zoom credentials before checking the connection, and it no longer saves an incomplete setup that has no meeting link. In practice, Zoom-enabled appointments connect more dependably and a misconfigured account cannot quietly persist.
Small but felt
- Copy settings, now with Review Center: the copy-settings-to-staff action now carries Review Center configuration along, so a well-tuned reviewer setup spreads to the team in one step.
- Tools and settings, together: a new Tools and settings area in the navigation gathers your settings and compliance controls in one place.
- Right day, right away: links from the previous-generation screens now open the calendar on the correct day.
In the works
A look at what is moving through development right now, all in customer terms and all subject to final polish:
- A rebuilt Control Center. The place where you set up how your account behaves is being rebuilt screen by screen: plain-English settings, full editing of records directly in the grids, and event rescheduling built in.
- The Vendor Center. One home for everything about your interpreters: time off, skills, exclusions, and rates, viewed and managed in one place instead of five.
- A lighter Review Center view. A "reduced data view" that shows only the accounts, services, and categories your filters call for, with a clear banner telling you the view is trimmed, so big review workloads load lighter and read faster.
Each of these will get a proper introduction here when it arrives.
